I am using RobotC 3.04 and loaded the sample program, when I try to run it I get and error indicating invalid direction. Do you have tutorial on how to set this up? I am attempting to use robotC and am having trouble getting the sensor to work. Is it posible that this error is caused by a missing driver.

HTIRS-test. I think my problem is like this one http://robotc.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2768&p=11654 how would I disable the internal drivers. I will be able to get the program if needed tomorrow (about 18 hours from now) We will be having a driving/programming session

You can give yourself access to the custom sensor type by going here:
Window->menu level->expert
Robot->Motor and Sensors Setup->Sensor Management
Enable at least "Allow Custom Designed Sensors"

Now in the "Sensors" tab of the "Motor and Sensor Setup" UI, you will see a new entry called "Custom I2C Sensors" with a whole bunch of sub options. For this particular sensor, set it to "I2C Custom"

Now the built-in driver should not start. Also, keep in mind that if you are using the IR Seeker V2, you should be using the HTIRS2-test1.c program, which uses the HTIRS2-driver.h driver file.
