 Light sensor in labyrinth
Hello everybody. I want my robot to move through a labyrinth. The path he must follow is a black line. So I use the classic path follower algorithm. No problem. On each junction I put a red mark. So when the robot see the red mark, he must stop and look at the possible ways. And this is my problem. I have only one light sensor. To follow the path, I use the light sensor with the sensorCOLORRED type. But to see the red mark, I need it with the sensorCOLORFULL type. I tried to change the sensor type on the way, but it appears to be a bad solution. Am I doing anything wrong ? Any idea to help me ? Thank you (I hope you can understand my poor English !)

 Re: Light sensor in labyrinth
I answer my question by another question Can the raw values solve my problem ? They offer a wider range of values, but they seem also dependent on ambient light. Is this right ?

 Re: Light sensor in labyrinth
Hi Jean Claude, I'm not real familiar with the color sensor, but I have a suggestion. Would it work to follow the line with sensorCOLORFULL when the color is black and break from that task when the color becomes red?

 Re: Light sensor in labyrinth
Thanks for your answer, but in the line follower algorithm that I use, the robot follows the edge of the line, and the sensor must be very accurate. And it seems that COLORFULL is not. It's why I thought about raw values. I must do more tests ...
