 I need help with installing fantom.dllHi, I am trying to set up my mindstorms kit to work with RobotC. The problem is when I try to put the RobotC firmware on the brick the computer says "RobotC was unable to load the 'Fantom.dll' used for communicating to a NTX brick. No communications is possible." So I went to the Lego website and downloaded it and opened it with Windows Explorer but RobotC still has the same error message. What should I do? (By the way I am running Windows 7 home, RobotC 3.04, and the NTX is 1.31)

Nope this did not fix the problem. Once you downloaded are you suppose to load it or something because if that is true I don't have anything to load it with. |

Re: I need help with installing fantom.dll It's a compressed file. You have to unzip it, and then run the program "setup" that it contains.

Ok now that I have ran the program when I tried to download the RobotC firmware the Brick stopped working now it just makes a clicking noise. |

Re: I need help with installing fantom.dll That's supposed to happen. It is now in "firmware upload mode". Just restart the download, and there shouldn't be any problems. However, if it still doesn't work, look at this article here.
