 Recursive functions.When will recursive function calls be supported? It's not required at the moment, but it would make my program somewhat simpler.

Re: Recursive functions. Nope, they won't. It would require a total internal reworking of the firmware and also compiler. I wouldn't expect it to be implemented any time soon (if ever).
