CHECK FOR UPDATES IN 3.02 DOESN'T SEE 3.03
I have been running the trial version of 3.02 and after seeing that version 3.03 had fixed the large file problem, decided to purchase a license. I then activated the license in version 3.02. Then, I checked for updates and it said I was up to date.
Is this a bug?
Can I install the 3.03 version over 3.02, or do I have to uninstall and reinstall?

Installing over 3.02 seemed to work.

3.02 had an issue with the updater that 3.03 fixed. So from now on it should show you when an update is available. And yes, installing right over top of ROBOTC works.

Re: CHECK FOR UPDATES IN 3.02 DOESN'T SEE 3.03
I think I have found one issue. If I click on a RobotC file, I get a screen that tells me that my trial license has expired and asks me if I want to activate a licensed version. If I put the new license ID in, I get a failure that says it is for a different product. If I open RobotC and then open the file from there, everything works fine.
Is this a bug?

Re: CHECK FOR UPDATES IN 3.02 DOESN'T SEE 3.03
Are you sure when you double clicked on a RobotC file, the correct version of RobotC was invoked? I suspect you may have an older version of RobotC along side with the new 3.x and somehow the file extension association still points to the older RobotC. When you double clicked on a RobotC file, did RobotC come up with a screen that showed you its version number?

MHTS brings up a good point. You can try uninstalling all versions and then reinstalling with the latest installer file. There's also a Delete All Registry Values selection if you're in Expert mode. If you still run into issues you can use this command to wipe any leftover information and start fresh.

Ummmm... My version of RobotC 3.03 help/update did not see version 3.04 being available. I've downloaded 3.04 it and it seems to have installed OK.
