Problem with HiTechnic IRSeeker - May need firmware support
Hi,
I have a new HiTechnic IRSeeker & IRBall and I think I might have spotted a problem.
Running NXT-G firmware 1.05 I have no trouble getting output from the sensor using the View function on NXT brick (Ultrasonic Sensor option).
When I do the same using the RobotC 1.10 firmware I see no output. I take it therefore RobotC firmware is unable to process signals from this sensor at this point.
Is this a known issue and when will it be resolved? If so can the developers kindly take note?
Thanks,
KK

Hi k_kirk
Did you use the IR-Seeker in sonar centimeter mode?
Ill look into this, the view sensor might not be working properly.

Thanks. Yes. I was using the Sonar CM mode following the HiTechnic info sheet supplied with the product. Doing the same with standard Lego firmware results in proper readings and hence my post. Thanks for your assistance.
