|Post subject:||I2C on EV3|
I experienced issues with interfacing i2c sensors with EV3.
We created our own I2C slave module, e.g. using a nano with 4 pings.. It works great with NXT, but barf very quickly with EV3. Then, it failed to work with EV3 with a couple of other third party I2C sensors (worked well with nxt).
After debugging with a digital signal analyzer, we noticed the "auto id" feature from the ev3 most likely is the cultprit. But then, I have yet tested it with the orginial EV3 software yet to determine whether it is from robotC, or from EV3 kernel.
Any suggestion out is always appreciated.
