Post Latest firmware version?
Can someone tell me (or point me to a page that shows) what the latest firmware version is? I recently tried to install version 1.45 of RobotC by following the link. After installing the software RobotC still reports that it is version 1.40.

I looked in the firmware folder and see that there are now two versions, NXT0753.rfw with a date of Dec 8/08 and NXT0759.rfw with a date of June 10/08. Why does the higher numbered version have an older file date?

I tried downloading the NXT0759 to my brick and I can link to it, but any attempt to launch the debugger or download a program fails with a bad USB connection. I downloaded the older(?) NXT0753 version and things seem to be working again, except that now the "Low battery" warning flashes always even with a freshly charged battery.

Is there a page anywhere that shows various known working combinations of RobotC versions and firmware versions?

Hey there,

You can download 1.47b here: http://www.robotc.net/downloads/ROBOTCf ... 7_BETA.exe

I've been using it for a while now without any adverse effects, apart from a slight tingling of my scalp and numbness of the earlobes.

Regards,
Xander

Thanks Mightor, that version seems to work OK. It still doesn't fix the bug with atan() as I was hoping but I'm sure it's better than version 1.40 that I was using.
