Post Eval Version download problem
Hi,

I am new to this forum, so my question may have been already discussed. I installed Robot C v1.0 also 1.02 with the same result. The program is running driver v1.02 and the brick can be rezognized, after FW has been downloaded to the brick. However, when I try to download a program, I keep on getting this message: "Failed to open Communication link to NXT brick." Compile works OK, but download doesn't. I see no way around this and I already waisted so much time tinkering. Can anyone help me please? Thanks a lot.

Make sure that you have only one version of ROBOTC installed (uninstall all other versions). If you are planning on using v1.02:

1) Install that version.
2) Turn on your NXT, plug in your USB cord to both the NXT and your computer
3) Download the firmware: it should be NXT0710.rfw I believe for v1.02.
4) Keeping your robot on, go to Compile and Download program (or press F5).

If that doesn't work, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the NXT driver. Here is a link to the driver:

And then run those steps again. Please let me know if this helps!
