Installing more than one version of ROBOTC?

ROBOTC 3.0 introduces a new and improved way of managing your ROBOTC software, designed to simplify the process of keeping all of your software up-to-date while minimizing the number of downloads and installations you must perform!

Once you have downloaded and installed any version of ROBOTC 3.x, you have everything you need (NXT and Cortex drivers excluded). No Additional downloads of ROBOTC software are required; in fact, don't try to download and install additional versions.

BEST Team License Installation Instructions

1. Download ROBOTC for CORTEX & PIC
2. Install the CORTEX Driver of your choice
   • VEX Programming Driver (32-Bit)
   • VEX Programming Driver (64-Bit)
   • VEX Programming Driver - FAQ & Instructions
3. Install the Prolific USB to Serial Driver
• Prolific USB to Serial Driver (Windows XP)
• Prolific USB to Serial Driver (Windows 7, VISTA)
  
4. Register to Download the BEST Team License
5. Extract the license file (.lf) and put it in the same directory as your ROBOTC installation
   (Typically /Program Files/ Robomatter Inc/ROBOTC Development Environment/
               
6. Start ROBOTC as an ADMINISTRATOR from the desktop shortcut or Start Menu
              
   
   
7. Verify that your license was correctly installed by viewing your license status as the "Help - Manage Licenses" screen.
              
   
8. Update your CORTEX firmware by following the "Getting Started" directions inside of ROBOTC.
